Twisted Bangle | Two Strands That Cross Twice
A 925 silver bangle made from two slim arcs that twist into each other at the front and again at the back, with a four petal seat holding a single square stone at the centre of the front crossing.
The whole piece is two strands, not one. They run side by side, wind together at the front, wind together again at the back, and hold each other that way without solder showing at the crossing points.
The front crossing became the setting. Instead of bolting a separate mount onto a plain bangle, the two strands open into four claw petals that grip one square stone — the setting is the point where the strands meet, which is why it sits so low on the wrist.
Where the strands separate, they bow slightly apart before closing again. That bow is what gives the bangle its gap and its spring: the piece opens enough to pass over the hand, then settles back into its own shape.
The back is deliberately plainer than the front. The strands gather into a narrow waist with a carved texture, so the piece has a quiet side to wear against a desk or a sleeve and a bright side that faces out.
Two strands also solve a weight problem. A single bar wide enough to read as a statement bangle becomes heavy; two thin arcs read the same width from the front while carrying far less metal, so the piece stays comfortable through a full day.
